Elvira Amstein, certified translator, founder and managing director of AmsteinTraductions.ch, has turned her passion into her profession:
My passion for the German language and my great interest in foreign languages and foreign cultures prompted me to concentrate on the translation of texts of all kinds and to undergo further training as translator at the renowned Chartered Institute of Linguists in London. I now hold a translation diploma awarded by the above Institute. This academic degree rounded off my professional experience in translating, proofreading, and editing.
I began my professional career in the private sector where I was employed for more than 15 years. Thereafter, I worked in Swiss embassies and consulates abroad. Thanks to my vast experience with a wide variety of text types and formats as well as IT tools you can directly benefit from this “know-how”.
I started translating as a part-time project. Thanks to a number of loyal customers this soon became a small business.
Together with my interdisciplinary team of highly qualified translators, I am looking forward to provide you with high quality language services in German, French, English, Italian and Spanish at competitive prices.
